Starting Friday, December 11, The 33. Based on the real-life event, when a gold and copper mine collapses, it traps 33 miners underground for 69 days. Rated PG-13, showtimes 7 pm each night, Saturday & Sunday 4 PM & 7 PM.

 

Star Wars: The Force Awakens

A continuation of the saga created by George Lucas and set thirty years after Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi (1983). Rated PG-13. Thursday, December 17th showtimes at 7 PM & 10 PM. Weeknights at 7 PM, Weekends at 4 PM & 7 PM.

ECRACThrough a generous grant from the East Central Regional Arts Council the Paradise Theatre will continue to bring the surrounding community a wide variety of free movies over the next year.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the East Central Regional Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

Home Alone

Starting at 1 PM Saturday, December 5th, Home Alone. An 8-year old troublemaker must protect his home from a pair of burglars when he is accidentally left home alone by his family during Christmas vacation. Rated PG.

Pixels

Starting at 1 PM Sunday, December 6th, When aliens misinterpret video feeds of classic arcade games as a declaration of war, they attack the Earth in the form of the video games. Rated PG-13.

Stalag 17

Starting at 12:30 PM Monday, December 7th, Stalag 17. When two escaping American World War II prisoners are killed, the German POW camp barracks black marketeer, J.J. Sefton, is suspected of being an informer. Rated PG.

Free Film Series committee

Anyone interested in being part of the Free Film Series committee, which is responsible for choosing all movies for each of the different series, is welcome! It’s fun to be part of this aspect of movies at the Paradise! Please leave a message for Eric Carlisle at the concession counter, or call the Paradise at 320-679-3964 with message if you are interested. 

The series are:

Kids matinee’s – once a month during school year, every Wednesday matinee all summer

Independent/foreign films – once a month the 1st. Saturday of each month

Classic Monday Matinee’s – 1st & 3rd. Monday of each month at 12:30, movies for everyone

Annual children’s Holiday movies – Between Thanksgiving & Christmas each Saturday & Sunday matinee’s

Summer Outdoor Movies – once a month on Saturday’s during summer months
