Risen

Starting Friday, March 4th, Risen. Follows the epic Biblical story of the Resurrection, as told through the eyes of a non-believer. Clavius, a powerful Roman Military Tribune, and his aide Lucius, are tasked with solving the mystery of what happened to Yahshua in the weeks following the crucifixion, in order to disprove the rumors of a risen Messiah and prevent an uprising in Jerusalem. Rated PG-13. Showtimes at 7 PM on Weeknights.  4 PM & 7 PM on Weekends.

Eddie the Eagle

Starting Friday, March 11th, Eddie the Eagle. The story of Eddie Edwards, the notoriously tenacious British underdog ski jumper who charmed the world at the 1988 Winter Olympics. Rated PG-13. Showtimes at 7 PM on Weeknights.  4 PM & 7 PM on Weekends.

 

Allegiant

Starting Friday, March 18th, Allegiant. Beatrice Prior and Tobias Eaton venture into the world outside of the fence and are taken into protective custody by a mysterious agency known as the Bureau of Genetic Welfare. Rated PG-13. Showtimes at 7 PM on Weeknights.  4 PM & 7 PM on Weekends.


FREE MONDAY MATINEES



The Notebook

Starting at 12:30 PM on Monday, March 7th, The Notebook. A poor and passionate young man falls in love with a rich young woman and gives her a sense of freedom. They soon are separated by their social differences. Rated PG-13.

 

On the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, the Paradise shows a free matinee at 12:30. These have become a popular part of movie experience at the Paradise and are sponsored by ECRAC.

ART HOUSE INDEPENDENT MOVIES


 

Citizen Kane

Starting at 1:00 PM on Sunday, March 6th, Citizen Kane. Following the death of a publishing tycoon, news reporters scramble to discover the meaning of his final utterance. This film is not rated.

 

On the Sundays, the Paradise shows a
 free matinee at 1:00 PM. These are sponsored by ECRAC.

Free Film Series committee

Anyone interested in being part of the Free Film Series committee, which is responsible for choosing all movies for each of the different series, is welcome! It’s fun to be part of this aspect of movies at the Paradise! Please leave a message for Eric Carlisle at the concession counter, or call the Paradise at 320-679-3964 with message if you are interested.

The series are:

Kids matinee’s – once a month during school year, every Wednesday matinee all summer

Independent/foreign films – once a month the 1st. Saturday of each month

Classic Monday Matinee’s – 1st & 3rd. Monday of each month at 12:30, movies for everyone

Annual children’s Holiday movies – Between Thanksgiving & Christmas each Saturday & Sunday matinee’s

Summer Outdoor Movies – once a month on Saturday’s during summer months
